The purpose of the association is to foster a spirit of loyalty and promote the overall welfare of our organization. The association supports the goals of the parent organization and works to strengthen the ties between alumni, the community, and the institution. It also serves as a common platform for alumni to connect with one another across different years, batches, branches, and areas of interest.

OBJECTIVES

1. Diffusion of the useful knowledge among the old students who studied in the Maharajah’s College Of Pharmacy, Vizianagaram.
2. To assist the college for its development.
3. Bring the old students of MAA (Maharajah’s College of Pharmacy Alumni Association), Vizianagaram under the one forum for exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents amongst its members and also for the furtherance of fellowship, advancement of scientific knowledge in general of members of the association and country.
4. To improve a since of unity, inter relation, mutual cooperation, understanding, inter dependency, knowledge and equal opportunities among all the members.
5. To collect funds by subscripts, contributions, donations and gifts from members, non-member, Governments, Universities and other institutions and philanthropists for furtherance of the above objectives.
6. To conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, endowment/guest lecturers and other academic activities and also to keep in touch with one another of the college faculty, non-teaching staff and students.
7. To bring out magazines, souvenirs and newsletters highlighting the activities of the college and its alumni.
8. To advise and interact with state and control Government Bodies, Universities and Associations of other academic institutions on matters relating to promotion of higher education, training and management systems and thereby promote the welfare and status of the college.
9. To motivate the Present students for their better future.
10. To render financial aid to deserving poor students studying at the college.
11. To render financial aid to deserving alumni in cases of extreme compassionate circumstances.
12. To create and establish Alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students showing high proficiency in their studies and honor former students of the college.
13. To organize cultural and educational programmers and also conduct Alumni Day celebrations every year.
14. To supply such a Free Medical aid and such other assistance necessary for living to the needy persons and poor.
15. To provide financial assistance to the needy poor/ BPL students.
16. To open and run Blood Banks and Donation Camps, Free Medical Check-up Centers those who are necessity to the Society.
17. To conduct any service towards humanity.
18. To improve and arrange the facilities available in Maharajah’s College of Pharmacy, Vizianagaram.
19. To do all such other use full things, Deeds, Acts are essential or conductive to the attainment of the objects.
20. To carry out such other activities as may be necessary for furthering the above aims and objectives.

Alumni Activities

Maharajah’s College of Pharmacy Alumni Association (MAA) was registered with Reg. No. 156 of 2025 U/s 3 of the Societies Registration Act, 2001.

MAA was established:

To facilitate and encourage alumni participation in the holistic development of MRCP students through guest lectures, seminars, webinars, career guidance and coaching for competitive exams such as GPAT, PGECET and NIPER.

To provide financial support to students in the form of grants, scholarships and prizes and to extend assistance in academics and placements.

To create awareness about important social issues and foster a sense of national and social responsibility among students.
